    This painting depicts the artist's memory of a small hill station in the tiny state of Sikkim in North Eastern India. A veritable tourist spot in the proximity of the Great Himalayan Range. Often spread over several mountains the towns of Sikkim are notable for their neat and clean streets, and generally orderly traffic.

    Hand-painted by notable Indian artist Suprita Sarkar. A prolific artist and winner of several national level awards, her work spans watercolor, pastels, tapestry, yarns and various other mediums. She paints anything she desires but much of her work is inspired by nature and her surroundings trying to capture the essence of her observations and perception.
